The target argument can be an arbitrary object.
If it has certain methods, they are used by XMLParser,
missing methods are ignored.
Ideally, we'd be able to type the potentially missing
methods correctly, but currently the type system is
unable to do so.

- Default imports to THIRD_PARTY, so in effect we merge the FIRST_PARTY and THIRD_PARTY stubs. This means import order is no longer affected by whether typing_extensions is installed locally.
- Treat typing_extensions, _typeshed and some others as standard library modules.
Note that isort master is very different from the latest release; we'll have to do something
different if and when the next isort release comes out.

Currently this is just an alias for Any like Mock and MagicMock. All of
these classes should probably be sub-classing Any and add their own

It should be possible to ask for every object whether it looks like
an element. If only Elements are accepted, this function would always
return True.

* Have Element inherit from MutableSequence, which is more precise than Sequence.

* Improve types for xml.etree.ElementTree
Update signatures to reflect the following peculiarities of the
ElementTree library:
- The elementtree library accepts unicode or bytes for most xml values
in python2, and coerces everywhere -- but in python3, only str makes
sense.
- In python 2, the library produces str or unicode instances
unpredictably, depending on whether the xml is decodeable as ascii or
not. In python 3, it always produces str instances.
- The parser functions accept unicode or bytes in 2 and 3 -- again, will
coerce individual instances so heterogeneous lists are ok.
- In python 3, the tostring functions produce bytes or str, depending on
the value of the 'encoding' parameter.
