Tim Pope 49f3f92fd5 Guard against inadvertent :| invocation 
I haven't been able to consistently reproduce it, but sometimes vim
takes :edit +CmdA\|CmdB to mean :CmdA followed by :| and not :CmdA
followed by :CmdB.
